Eliyahu Borodin

Eliyahu was born in 1990 in Odessa, Ukraine.

When he was 7 years old, his family immigrated to Germany and settled in the city of Krefeld.

When Eliyahu was about 17 years old, he started getting interested in Judaism, and when he graduated high school, a question came up about where to continue his education. He started searching for a place where he can study at a university and at the same time keep his Jewish way of life, as well as get some Jewish education too. After a bit of researching he found the city of Berlin to be the best place for him.

In 2010 Eliyahu applied to the Humboldt University of Berlin as well as to the Yeshiva Gedola of Berlin. And since then he is studying mathematics at the university while attending daily the Yeshiva Gedola of Berlin.

 

Michael Axenrod

Michael was born in 1991 in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.

At the age of ten and a half his family moved to the city of Kassel, Germany.

After graduating school in Germany, Michael started looking into the Jewish traditions and a Jewish way of life, and over the summer he has developed a strong interest in it. And that interest made him choose the city of Berlin as a place where he would continue his education.

Since September 2011, Michael lives in Berlin, studies economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin, and attends classes at the Yeshiva Gedola of Berlin.
